Drop onto a folder to move inside it, onto a file to move into that file's folder, or onto empty tree space to move to the workspace root; a multi-selection moves together. Open tabs, pinned files, and expanded folders follow the move, and name collisions are reported instead of overwriting. Dragging uses pointer events so it coexists with the existing Finder-drop-to-open behavior. |
